It was a cold and bleak Brooklyn winter in February 2023. Fresh from the end of a five‑year relationship, Georgie dove back into single life the way she knew how: the dating apps. Only this time felt different. This time, she was ready for the real thing-the kind of love she helped other couples find and the kind she knew she deserved.

She matched with Mitch on Raya and planned to meet at a restaurant in her Bushwick neighborhood. Mitch arrived by bike, tall and a little distracted-he’d lost one glove on the way. After splitting a burger, they wandered the neighborhood coming up empty handed but finding each other instead.
